How does the program work?

Each term covers a different nutrition topic. The program is designed to drip feed nutritional messages across the year to student athletes, parents and coaches to encourage small sustainable changes in the diet. Resources are supplied at the beginning of each term.

How do we know the program is effective?

The program uses evidence based information developed by an Advanced Sports Dietitian. We have had lots of great feedback from schools (via surveys) about the positive impact the program has made on the community. See what people have said about the program here.

Each year we take all feedback on board and continue to work hard to improve the program material to help athletes succeed in their sports. In the future, we would love to do formal research on its effectiveness.

Do I need to sign up for a whole year?

No. The program is designed to work for programs with different budgets. You can choose a single package in the year or cover a range of different topics with the yearly plan.

Is the program only for schools or can sporting clubs sign up?

The program has been designed to run across a school calendar year. However, modifications can be made to suit a sporting club. Get in touch to discuss your program needs.
